Through September 7, 2026, the Canada Strong Pass provides free admission to places administered by Parks Canada and 25% off eligible camping and overnight stays. There is no physical or digital pass to buy, download, or show. The benefit applies to visitors regardless of citizenship.

What the camping discount covers

Parks Canada lists eligible tent and RV camping, frontcountry sites, backcountry overnight stays, equipped camping, and several roofed accommodations. Separate services can still cost extra, including some third-party services, firewood, parking, mooring, boat launching, permits, and paid experiences.

The discount applies to eligible nights from June 19 through September 7, 2026 inclusive. A trip after September 7 does not qualify merely because it was booked during the offer period.

Reservations are not included or guaranteed

The discount lowers an eligible camping fee; it does not create availability or remove the normal booking rules. Reservable inventory still needs to be booked through Parks Canada. Eligible first-come, first-served stays can receive the reduced rate when registered in person, but availability is not guaranteed.

Check the specific location before travelling because reservation rules, operating dates, services, and third-party arrangements vary.

Where it applies

The Parks Canada benefit applies at locations administered by Parks Canada. It does not automatically extend to provincial, territorial, municipal, or private campgrounds, and some services inside a national park are operated by third parties.

If you are deciding where to use the remaining offer window, start with the official Parks Canada location and reservation pages. Our Banff camping guide can help with trip context, while our first-trip planning guide covers the wider preparation that the discount does not replace.

What to verify before booking

  • the stay dates fall between June 19 and September 7, 2026 inclusive;
  • the campground or accommodation is administered by Parks Canada;
  • the selected fee is eligible for the discount;
  • the reservation or first-come process for that location;
  • closures, fire restrictions, weather, and local operating dates;
  • separate charges not covered by the offer.
